If you ever wanna research weimar Germany, and Anita Berber, Mel Gordon has written many books. He was also one of the producers on the show that I did. He was a professor of theater at Berkeley University and an Anita Berber scholar .

This is so well done and a beautiful portrait of a talented and tortured lady. It is sad how so many conditions were misunderstood in those days and blatantly exascerbated. She was a survivor and a true legend!

Please do a documentary on Anita Berber. She’s a fascinating early star. In the 90’s I played her in a series of shows produced by the Goethe institute of san Francisco. Enjoyed your documentary so much !
